CDI has an Immediate Need for a Oracle Web Application Developer

Overall Requirements:
Senior developer/architect with minimum of 10 years experience in designing and developing large, secure web sites based on Oracle’s web architecture.

Must have:
•Demonstrated experience in leading a technical team in the development of custom built web based, secure applications.
•Demonstrated experience in performing analysis, design and development
•Demonstrated advanced/expert use of the various Oracle Application Development products including Oracle 9ias/10g
•The ability to provide expert independent web services and leadership in the development of a secure web solution, including the ability to develop a custom-built 3-tiered web based solution that will be hosted on an Application Service Provider (ASP) infrastructure
•Strong analytical and technical background with experience in all phases of software development life cycle and process development
•Ability to lead a team of web developers, testers, and other development disciplines in implementing processes that ensure continuous quality objectives are met.
•Ability to serve as an expert resource to customer, other web developers on all phases of web development.
•Current knowledge trends in web development, and ability to be intimately involved in every phase of the project, identifying and resolving issues.
•Ability to work independently without supervision, but also in the context of a collaborative team environment.
•Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to facilitate frequent interfaces with customer to do need interpretation, requirements definition, and frequent status reporting.

Specific Requirements:

•Four (4) years general experience in the development of Internet applications, maintenance, and testing, with focus in Oracle Web development tools.
•Three (3) years specific experience in developing and coding Internet/Intranet applications, interactive web application, design/development, database connectivity, or software development.
•Internet/Intranet development experience with Java/Object-Oriented Design.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Technical writing experience. Desired Qualifications: - J2EE - Unix - XSLT - XHTML - XML - Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) - UML/UP/UDP/RUP
•Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to a changing environment.
•Experience in application architecture processes, methodologies, and frameworks.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Design and implementation of 3-tier web architectures

•Oracle Applications Server, including Oracle Internet Directory
•Linux development environment
•Object Oriented development expertise
•JAVA including J2EE, Struts, EJBs, JBDC
