ORACLE SWF - RCE TECHNICAL DESIGNER

ORACLE SWF- RCE TECHNICAL DESIGNERMain Sail is seeking an Oracle RCE Technical Designer for a 1 year project in St. Louis, MO. US Citizens only.An individual with 4 - 8 years of experience.
RCE (Reports Conversions Extensions) Technical Designer Key Responsibilities:1. Assist in defining and reviewing the technical requirements for the application, including security, integration, performance, and quality requirements.
2. Create the technical designs for the individual RCE components, based on the business requirements provided in the RCE functional designs. These RCE technical designs are passed to the programming resource(s) as input for creating RCE program specifications.
3. Confirm the completeness and consistency of the RCE technical designs.
4. Resolve any inconsistencies discovered.
5. Inform the RCE functional designer and RCE team lead of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
6. Participate in quality reviews to ensure traceability of the designs to the requirements.
7. Participate in transition of the functional design from the RCE functional designer.
8. Facilitate transition of the RCE technical design to the appropriate programming resource to ensure clear and complete understanding of the design.
9. Participate in testing the RCE component, after programming completion, if requested by project management.10. Ensure the component meets the stated technology.
11. Validate that the RCE component appears to meet stated functional design requirements.12. The RCE functional designer may also participate in additional testing.
13. Create RCE Functional Designs.
14. Conduct technical walkthrough of technical design with developer.
15. Conduct Peer Reviews for quality assurance.
16. Assist product test team in identifying testing requirements.
17. Provide technical support during assembly test.
REQUIREMENTS
4-8 years experience. Experience with Oracle Financials and Problem Resolution Management.Skills
1. Knowledge of Oracle, specifically custom development concepts.
2. Strong technical skills, including SQL and PL/SQL.
3. Facilitation experience for conducting design and review sessions.
4. Understanding the limitations of the Oracle system with respect to security, performance, customization, etc.
5. Custom development experience.
6. Knowledge of how to design and develop the package application.
7. Knowledge of how to design and develop other aspects of the application, e.g., UNIX, Java, etc.
8. Knowledge of PL/SQL , UNIX, JAVA, Oracle Forms & Reports and/or Discoverer Reports.US Citizen only
