ORACLE RCE FUNCTIONAL DESIGNER

ORACLE RCE FUNCTIONAL DESIGNERMain Sail is seeking an Oracle RCE Functional Designer - Workflow/Reports for an 18 month project near St. Louis, Missouri. US Citizens only.
RCE (Reports Conversions Extensions) Functional Designer Key Responsibilties:
1. Gather and document functional requirements for a particular RCE object.
2. Facilitate and participate in functional design meetings with key process team resources.
3. Assist in defining and reviewing the functional requirements for the application, specifically the gaps that are filled by customizations.
4. Design individual RCE components per the RCE inventory.
5. Confirm the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables.6. Resolve any inconsistencies discovered.
7. Inform the RCE team lead of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
8. Participate in quality reviews to ensure traceability of the designs to the requirements.
9. Participate in the transitions of the customization functional designs to the technical designers.
10. Create RCE Functional Designs.
11. Provide functional guidance to the RCE technical designer for the RCE work units.
12. Conduct functional design walkthrough with technical designer.
13. Conduct Peer Reviews for quality assurance.
REQUIREMENTS
4 years experience minimum. Oracle Financials, Problem Resoultion Management.
Skills:
1. Knowledge of Oracle 11i, specifically custom development concepts and functionality.
2. Strong functional and written communication skills.
3. Facilitation experience for conducting design and review sessions.
4. Understanding the limitations of the Oracle system with respect to security, performance, customization, etc.
5. Understanding of development processes.US Citizens only.
