Network Field Support Engineer

Qualified candidates should have a 2 year degree, 2 years recent field support experience (at a minimum) and the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues.In this position you would provide network design and support services for our clients. Design and implement Dell, Microsoft and Cisco solutions as well as provide on-call support to clients throughout the state of Connecticut. Specifics include:·WAN and LAN design & support for client offices throughout Connecticut
·Work with a team of the best network engineers and technicians in the business
·Provide technical support to medium sized clients in the following industries:
.Medical
.Not for Profit
.Other – aerospace, professional service, etc.
·Implementation of networks including the latest Microsoft and Cisco technologies
·Network security vulnerability assessments and audits

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 year degree needed.Minimum of 2-3 years experience in network support
Confident professional attitude
Consulting environment experience very helpful
Windows 2003 Exchange, Active Directory & Cisco router experience required.
Must have built at least 4 servers within the last year.
Must be an efficient troubleshooter and be able to support any level of network infrastructure
MCP required, other certs a plus (MCSE, CCNA).
