Netwarcom Program Manager position in Hampton Road, Virginia.
Naval Network Warfare Command Job Description:
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
</liEstablishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

*Program Management, Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM),Global Information Grid (GIG, must be familiar with DITSCAP and other certification and accreditation methods, Computer Networks, Computer Network Defense (CND) strategies, network security solutions, and network vulnerabilities assessments.

The NETWARCOM Program Manager should have a technical or management degree plus 10-15 or more years of experience executing military programs with specific emphasis on the Naval Network Command, Norfolk, VA. or relevant other experience which would be directly related to this position

Requires a minimum Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance.
BS Engineering Preferred, Masters Degree desired with 10-15 years of professional experience and specialized training.
