NUTRITIONAL COUNSELOR Full time position. Performs counseling with patients daily about nutrition and weight loss. Describing meal plans and giving low carbohydrate food suggestions. Responsible for selling weight-loss programs to new and follow up patients. Knowledge of Supplements and Nutrition required. Good written and verbal communication skills a must.

REQUIREMENTS
Summary:Manages a variety of general office activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs counseling with patients daily about nutrition and weight-loss. Describing meal plans and giving low carbohydrate food suggestions. Responsible for selling weight-loss programs to new and follow up patients. Weekly follow up calls to patients for support and encouragement. Questions and answers for all phone calls from patients daily establishing a relationship with individuals. Responsible for making information booklets and supplement handouts. This individual must stay current on nutrition and supplements, which includes going to local seminars and reviewing new products. Must sale additional supplements and inform all patient of our auto-ship program. Also assist in front office and phone assistance for main office.
Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma
Knowledge of Supplements and Nutrition
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Computer Skills:
Word processing, Internet software, E-mail, Database software
