Mid-Level Consulting Ecologist/Biologist

Qualified candidates must be able to perform some or all of the following tasks: wetland delineations and associated reports, conduct plant, fish and wildlife surveys, perform vegetation transects in a variety of habitats, evaluate and map terrestrial, aquatic, and wetland habitat, assist in or conduct Section 7 consultations, prepare sections of NEPA documents, prepare wetland permit applications, prepare or participate in preparation of restoration and mitigation plans, and perform avian surveys. REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years consulting experience or combination of consulting/agency experience.
Ability to perform technical tasks and manage some tasks with a minimum of supervision. Disciplines can be one or a combination of wetland delineation and permitting, botany, wildlife ecology, and/or fisheries/aquatic ecology, and must also include:
Collection of field ecology data;
Data analysis, including computer software, and report preparation;
GPS skills (preferred but not required);
NEPA experience preferred but not required; Excellent writing skills.
