Mid-Level Consultant

Rocaton Investment Advisors, LLC (Rocaton) is a nationally recognized 100% employee-owned, full-service institutional investment consulting firm based in Norwalk, CT. Rocaton was founded in April, 2002 by 16 experienced investment professionals who all previously worked together. Our partners have, on average, more than 15 years of industry experience. We currently advise clients that collectively have more than $225 billion in assets. Rocaton’s clients include large corporate retirement plans, endowments, insurance companies, and financial intermediaries.Rocaton is looking for a mid-level consultant to join its growing team. The candidate will work closely with senior consultants to support a small group of clients. The position entails managing client specific projects such as investment manager searches, investment structure reviews, asset allocation studies, overseeing the portfolio monitoring process and other ad hoc requests. The candidate will be responsible for the coordination of internal resources across Rocaton's consulting and research professionals and will have meaningful client and investment manager contact.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires an individual with a client service orientation, strong written and oral communication skills, an ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and a desire to interact with clients and other investment professionals. Four to ten years of experience is preferred and an MBA/CFA and/or prior consulting or asset management experience is preferred. The position has excellent growth potential and provides an opportunity to immediately contribute to Rocaton's success. Some travel is required.
