Meditech Project ManagerPerot Systems Corporation has an opening for a Meditech Project Manager to join our Meditech team.This position may be home based on a virtual basis anywhere in the Western US with approximately 75% travel.Job Responsibilities

Facilitate a strategic vision for Meditech implementations and articulate and educate that vision to the stakeholders and project team members

Participate in the development, management and monitoring of the project plans

Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors, project team, account team, and site IT staff

Perform analysis and documentation of current state workflow and future state workflow

Develop a strategy to gain acceptance of key stake holders and compliance to the desired future state of desktop makeup across the environment
Collaborate with application teams to ensure functionality and system stability

Create detailed implementation project plan covering all aspects of the implementation of Meditech applications including design, system build, hardware procurement and deployment, interface development, training plans, testing plans, parallel runs, and go-live planning)

Work with the Client Project Lead to coordinate tasks, merge project plans, escalate issues and achieve common goals

Coordinate the schedule of resources from various ancillary departments as needed throughout the full project life cycle

Ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and that the appropriate resources are allocated to complete all tasks

Review and update project plans on a regular basis and distribute status reports with appropriate team members as needed

Project change management

Maintain open and timely communications between project leaders and follow through on project issues, risks and needs with client and vendor project executives and team members

Confirm all prerequisite tasks are completed prior to scheduled visits by vendor assigned resources

Liaison with concerned management to assure information needs are met throughout the organization

Analysis and triage of existing NPR reports and identification of new client server reports that may be requiredRequired Skills

Meditech implementation, upgrade, and testing experience with multiple Meditech clinical, financial, or administrative applications

Implementation or migration project management experience

Hospital operations experience

Experience applying BPE and or BPR techniques in the hospital environment

Intermediate level NPR knowledge and experience

Proficiency with MS Project, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

A minimum of 3 years healthcare experience in the hospital setting

Excellent client relationship skillsMinimum Educational Requirements

BA, BS, or similar education, experience, or certificationsMinimum Certifications or Professional Credentials
