Medical Equipment Planner (Senior Associate)
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT PLANNER (SENIOR ASSOCIATE)
ECRI, a leading equipment planning and healthcare research organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to:
Market and provide consulting services and assistance to healthcare management in matters concerning healthcare technology, including areas of strategic planning, operations, reimbursement, and marketing
Provide hospitals with assistance regarding clinical equipment acquisition and management, specifically, providing clinical needs assessment and equipment planning services, including specification development, request for proposal and contract writing, and facilities planning
Write and review reports for client use regarding the above topics.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in allied health disciplines, healthcare administration, or biomedical engineering.
Strong background in healthcare technology with emphasis on healthcare organizations and operations.
At least 5 years experience in medical equipment planning or in a healthcare facility or healthcare consulting environment. Strong background in project management and sales with the ability to market and sell consulting services to prospective clients.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to deal effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals, manufacturers, and others.
Must have capacity for multitasking and be able to work under pressure.
Willingness to travel.
