United Airlines is currently seeking individuals with proven finance, accounting, procurement, change management and/or IT experience. Qualified candidates will participate in a multi-year program to design, develop and implement a financial ERP system based on proven best practice business processes and the Oracle e-Business suite. This program is a unique opportunity to work on the strategic re-engineering of United's financial business processes and implement best practices. The program includes projects to install a new general ledger, budgeting/planning/forecasting tools, along with modules for accounts receivable, expense reporting, contract administration, procurement and accounts payable.
Primary ResponsibilitiesLeads the Organization Change Management (OCM) team, which is responsible for organizational design, training, communications and other OCM activities needed to successfully implement best practices for financial processes in connection with the Finance ERP Program Drives the definition and execution of OCM strategies and plans for the program and each project within the program Partners with Corporate Organizational Development in the definition and execution of organizational design plans Consults with HR and business leaders in the definition, design and creation of new job roles Ensures a strategic partnership between the ERP program and United's training consultants in the development of appropriate training and team building plans. Provides overall leadership and direction in the execution of these plans. Through a partnership with Corporate Communications, develops an overall communications plan that addresses all United stakeholders. Provides overall leadership and direction to the ERP team in the proper execution of a well-defined communications plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Psychology, Adult Learning or related field Post graduate degree preferred
Experience:Five + years of related experience Experience in large scale OCM related to enterprise-wide systems implementations highly desirable
Skills:Demonstrated skill in OCM and training activities Ability to effectively lead a team Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and vendors Excellent written and oral communication skills Skilled in using MS Office tools
