Manager, Consulting

Pyramid Research is a growing international company that provides market analysis and consulting services to the global communications, media, and technology industries from our offices in the U.S., U.K., and Hong Kong. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to help manage our consulting practice and will prioritize those with telecoms or communications technology experience, consulting experience, and/or an interest in Latin American markets. The ideal candidate will be able to professionally manage projects and client relationships, support Pyramid’s other analytical activities, and maintain an inclination to participate in business development for the company's consulting practice. Candidates should also be comfortable applying core analytical approaches and methodologies on consulting projects with global and regional clients. Pyramid’s consulting engagements vary in duration and scope and include market sizing projects, market entry strategy, financial due diligence, technology assessment, and strategy development.

REQUIREMENTS
In order to provide the best opportunity for success at Pyramid, we require all candidates to possess the following skills and characteristics:

- Demonstrable experience in telecoms, communications technology, and/or consulting industry; international experience a plus, particularly in Latin America
- Demonstrable experience with issue analysis, problem formation, and quantitative analysis
- Superb communication skills, including significant report writing and presentation experience
- Project and team management experience
- Evidence of experience presenting project results to executives and other senior client personnel
- Ability to work under tight deadlines on various projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30% of time)
- Business development skills or interest, including lead generation and proposal writing abilities
- Interest is building professional reputation and growing Pyramid's consulting practice
- Fluency, near-fluency, or demonstrable ability to speak with clients in Spanish. All candidates will be interviewed in both English and Spanish; we may interview candidates who do not have second language fluency but will prioritize those who speak Spanish
- Undergraduate or Masters degree in economics, finance, business, or related area from a strong university or college program; advanced degree required
- Authorization to work in the U.S. from our Cambridge, MA offices
