REQUIREMENTS
SKILL AREAS (qualified candidates will be have deep experience in one or more of the following areas)

Project Management (PM):
- Estimation and management of program and project scope, including customer issues, schedules, timelines and appropriate resource costs, and communications as necessary to ensure implementation is on time and within budget for overall project success
- Incorporate sound business concepts, key trends, new developments, competitive practices, operations and processes into designing services that favorably impact the success of a project on the client organization
- Supervise significant and complex work streams; manage and coach assigned resources

Project Implementation Management (PIM):
- Responsible and accountable to estimate and manage program and project scope, including customer issues, schedules, timelines and appropriate resource costs, and communications as necessary to ensure implementation is on time and within budget for overall project success
- Focus on high-level implementations, which require top-level ERP, SCM, CRM, etc, technical and functional support
- Possesses extensive experience in large-scale business systems integration, software development and software implementation in client-facing roles as well as deep experience and understanding of e-business and ERP implementation processes and a strong background in Internet applications or creative Web design projects
- Ability to assume a lead role in the implementation process and can create value for PMG through the effective support and delivery of PMG processes, solutions and products
- Commitment to maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction through the implementation, investigation, analysis, instruction and relationship building efforts

Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth data gathering and analysis often involving direct client contact
- Apply solid business concepts and PMG’s approaches to strategy and implementation plans
- Identify unresolved client needs
- Challenge assumptions to ensure the soundness of conclusions
- Current state process analysis
- Future state process design
- Requirements Definition through facilitated sessions
- Requirements Documentation


Synthesis:
- Document findings and incorporate results into high-level decisions based on sound reasoning
- Structure and integrate others’ analytical results into the final deliverables
- Create story lines for presentations
- Estimate financial impact of growth opportunities from both a revenue and cost perspective
- Develop business cases using standard frameworks (e.g., ROI, NPV, Break-Even)
- Identify resources and time requirements associated with strategy implementation plan

Business Development:
- Use existing skills and relationships to sell and deliver effective projects across existing and future clients within the financial services, chemical, metals or manufacturing sectors
- Meet and maintain annual sales and delivery targets as defined within the firm and individual performance plans
- Identify, pursue, and assist core team directors in the closing of consulting engagements.
- Position PMG to win consulting opportunities by developing, communicating and driving effective strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value propositions.
- Knowledge of consulting sales and delivery process
- Detailed understanding of key metrics (Utilization, Realization, Profitability)

Facilitation and Client Development:
- Design and facilitate client meetings and working sessions
- Mobilize and facilitate client and PMG resources to deliver robust solutions
- Understand client expectations and requirements in order to deliver work that results in a high client satisfaction
- Establish a good rapport and gain client trust/respect to strengthen relationships and to maximize sales opportunities

Consulting Delivery:
- Design, develop and deliver highest quality business consulting
- Apply PMG methodologies and market driven solutions that are appropriate to a client’s specific business needs
- Document and leverage consulting deliverables to better serve clients and ensure efficiency and quality

Team Leadership:
- Create value for other consultants through ongoing contributions of knowledge sharing and coaching to facilitate individual and organizational development and growth
- Facilitate team collaboration through an ongoing program of effective communication and knowledge management

Thought Leadership:
- Maintain a high degree of knowledge and understanding of your industry and of methodologies, processes, and solutions
- Communicate effectively with other consultants to ensure depth and breadth of knowledge within related areas of expertise
- Create value through participation in appropriate professional and marketing events


Relationship Building:
- Develop trusted advisor status with select customers to ensure ongoing communication, strong relationships and strategic references.
- Proactively build and grow successful relationships with PMG strategic partners

Personal Development:
- Learn additional methodologies, tools, products and technologies on an ongoing basis to become even more business process and technology knowledgeable
- Continuously enhance the ability to communicate with customers and prospects through effective written and oral presentations
- Review, establish and implement a professional development plan to facilitate individual ongoing growth and professional development at PMG
- Proactively seek to contribute to PMG growth objectives by providing mentoring and knowledge transfer to newly hired and existing consultants.


SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL AREA KNOWLEDGE:

Financial Services:
- Deep knowledge of Financial Services and Financial Markets
- Deep knowledge of compliance processes and regulations – Preferred
- Deep knowledge of business processes and systems for the financial service industry, including trading process flows
- Knowledge of commercial banking processes
- Knowledge of Mortgage Lending Markets

Sourcing:
- Experience with full life-cycle of Strategic Sourcing processes, including project initiation, planning, approval, sourcing, commissioning and/or organizational design
- Sourcing & Purchasing Knowledge (Spend Analysis, Supply Market Analysis, Commodity Strategy Development, Supplier Management, Contracting and Negotiation)
- Category Specific Sourcing Knowledge (i.e. MRO, Electronics, Castings, Steel, Packaging, Capital Expenditure, etc)
- Understanding of key integration points in the supply chain (Plan, Buy, Make, Move, Sell)
- Low Cost Country Sourcing / Outsourcing

Industry Specific (Chemicals, Metals, Utilities) Supply Chain Collaboration Strategy:
- Customer Facing Requirements Gathering

Bar-coding / RFID / EDI/ Shop Floor Automation
