Maintenance Consultant

As a Maintenance Consultant you will have an opportunity to work with a number of high profile clients across our business. This position will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Sales working closely with the sales team and supporting a negotiated sale for a complex maintenance program in a production environment. The successful candidate will have experience in he following areas:


Designing a maintenance program and estimating the cost of delivery.
Extracting work history data from legacy CMMS/EAM systems, along with being able to analyze the data.
Ability to translate scope of work specifications, tender documents, and asset information into accurate and competitive resource requirements for labor, equipment, and supplies.
Identifying a successful maintenance program and being capable of assessing the "gaps" between present practice and the desired end state.
Develop and retain cost estimating procedures and methods consistent with industry best practices for facility maintenance services and supporting equipment technology.
Ability to accurately assess local market labor rates for skilled technical labor and incorporate into bid documents.
Ability to prepare recommendations for detailed scope of work and service level documentation for negotiated, consultative sales process.


Job Requirements


Ideal candidates would have a minimum of 7 - 10 years experience as a Maintenance Estimator, Consultant or Analyst. A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required (and/or a journeyman class electrical/mechanical license combined with demonstrated maintenance management capabilities). The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focuses on client and customer services. Must be able to respond effectively to changing demands, and have strong organization and time management skills.
