Where You Fit
Pitney Bowes' largest sales force of 2000 people is aligned with its Global Mailing Systems (GMS) business, which helps customers create, prepare and distribute mail more efficiently and effectively. GMS offers the most comprehensive range of mailing hardware, software and services that efficiently produce, address, fold, insert, meter and process promotional and transactional mail and packages while reducing mail operations cost. Sales opportunities are also available in other Pitney Bowes businesses that provide document management products and services and outsourcing solutions.
Mailstream solutions focuses on distribution, mail creation, and Global Mailing Systems (GMS) inerter/folder products assigned to customer accounts that are large in scope.
The Mailstream Solutions Sales Consultant is responsible for the coordination of account and solutions based sales involved in obtaining their assigned sold quota and revenue growth objectives. This role is expected to ensure that sales methods, approaches, and account development strategies are formulated and executed to capitalize on district revenue opportunities and customer retention requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Achieve assigned targets for Sold Quota from current PB users, competitive and non-users from all lines of business and, where applicable, ensure the optimization of Global Strategic Account Quota.
Adhere to the SEP process, execution of sales activity, reporting and business processes requirements
Achieve assigned revenue growth targets within product mix
Ensure the retention of existing revenue streams of Pitney Bowes customers
Ensure that sales activities with Tele-sales Account Management (TAM) accounts are executed consistent with our operating agreement
Attend weekly Sales Effectiveness Planning sessions
Ensure timely/accurate recording, tracking and reporting of sales activities and results through daily usage of sales tools and adhere to standardized processes for forecasting of monthly results.
