We are in search of a team-oriented clinical professional to join our collaborative Philadelphia office. As a Life Resource Counselor, you would assist our valued members over the phone while enjoying all the perks of working for an industry leader. This position offers a nice change from direct care and a unique way to use your clinical skills.




Primary responsibilities include:




Taking calls from EAP (employee assistance program) members in a call center environment
Providing telephonic assistance to individuals dealing with issues such as workplace stress, family issues, and mental health needs
Determining member eligibility and benefit coverage
Triaging calls as necessary
Initiating counseling referrals and providing certification for appropriate outpatient care
Responding to crisis calls
Assisting in the coordination of services with providers

Updating and making clinical notes in the care management database

Job Requirements:

A Master's degree in a social sciences field (Psychology, MFT, etc) is required for this role. A related clinical license in the state of PA and strong clinical experience are essential. PC and MS Office proficiency are a must. CEAP is highly preferred, as is EAP experience. A background working in substance abuse is desirable. Prior customer service/telephonic experience is strongly preferred, while crisis hotline experience is a huge plus.
