Licensed Counselor/ Social Worker

PsychTemps, Inc. is a national recruiting and staffing firm for the behavioral health care field with corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are currently assisting a large non-profit social service agency in their recruitment of qualified licensed professional counselors and/or social workers to work in a womens residential treatment facility. These women have been referred by the court system in Hamilton County.
This position is a full time temp- to -hire position. Only candidates who are looking for a permanent job need apply. Because of the time intensity to train on the computer system client is not willing to hire someone on a temporary basis. The temp phase is 520 hours or approximately 3 months of FT work.
Job duties would include:
Individual counseling with the women.
Group Counseling
Completing appropriate documentation on each client and group.
Attending team meetings.
Other duties as required by supervisors

REQUIREMENTS
Necessary requirements for this position are as follows:

A masters degree in either counseling, social work, or chemical dependency
Ohio licensure as a Professional Counselor, Social Worker or a minimum of an LCDCII
Current CPR and First Aid preferred
An above average knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs
Self Directed with good organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
