Lean Consulting Manager

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: QualityResponsibilities: * Responsible for delivering Lean operational improvements in consulting engagements.
Leading Kaizen (Lean) events at the customer site.
Engagement management including effective interface with C-levels to mobilize commitment
Facilitating customer teams to improve clinical and operational efficiencies and processes in hospital departments
Data collection, analysis, and validation; customer interviews
Facilitation, presentation, solutions design and action planning
Process mapping, process implementation, Six Sigma, CAP & WO
Customer and Project Management at both the executive and department levels.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * 2+ years Lean experience including experience leading Lean events.
3+ years experience in process orientation and improvements.
3+ Skill in application of statistical analysis to transactional processes.
5+ years experience managing in dynamic and ambiguous environments at client sites.
Bachelor's degree
Willingness to travel up to 75%.Desired: * Content knowledge of hospital operations,
Healthcare consulting experience,
Understanding and application of the Six Sigma methodology and other GE leadership practices such as CAP and Workout.
Executive-level communication skills: writing, interviewing, persuasion, selling, and presentation
Computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
