Leadership Dvlpmt Consultant
The Leadership Development Manager will partner with line of business and human resources partners to drive a comprehensive development and organizational effectiveness strategy to achieve the desired business results. This is a high impact position supporting an organization that is going through substantial growth and change. The successful candidate must be a strong, influential, results oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge.
Serve as the primary consultant to the Line of Business Executive’s for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness work within the business.
Lead and/or participate in organizational assessment. Ensure optimal alignment between LOB’s growth strategies and the organizational capabilities required to deliver on them
Partner with subject matter experts from other Human Resources disciplines (e.g., Compensation, Staffing, Executive Recruiting) to ensure fully aligned activities that help to attract, on-board, manage and reward the performance and development of a workforce capable of executing LOB’s business strategy
Design and lead implementation of leadership development and OD initiatives.
Design and support the execution of the leadership agenda (i.e., management processes, communication strategy).
Lead Talent Planning process execution and integration with business including diversity strategy development. Support integration across lines of business.
Participate in the design and implementation of key leadership and HR initiatives (e.g. 360 feedback, performance management, competency development, career planning process).
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Identify, develop and lead the implementation of multiple projects in a fast-paced, challenging environment with competing priorities.
Participate in development efforts across the broader GCIB Learning and Organizational Effectiveness team including decisions on performance management, talent management and other types of development initiatives.
Serve as a key member of the businesses Human Resources team in delivering integrated people solutions.
Define and implement process improvements, tools and technology to enhance processes for stronger execution.
Develop the talent of the team reporting. Support a collaborative environment that recognizes individual skill sets, fosters cross-functional initiatives and addresses developmental needs. Measure progress, team mix, and productivity.
Travel required.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills
Minimum of 8 years experience in leadership and organizational development with a strong track record of success.
Comprehensive knowledge of Leadership Development, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management and Training desired.
Strong business acumen and highly developed analytical skills, as well as superior intellect and judgment.
Takes a business results-focused, proactive approach to the work.
Strong leadership and client engagement skills; an individual who can drive change within a large, diverse associate population, inspire a strong sense of camaraderie, accountability and motivate continuous improvements to performance.
Credibility to influence subordinates, peers and executive management. Able to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across the organization.
Results driven and metrics focused; track record of execution and outstanding client satisfaction. Willing to play both strategy/planning and detailed execution role.
Able to integrate work across delivery channels and customer segments in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment, establish priorities and achieve results.
Client focused to ensure that client needs are built into solutions and processes.
Excellent strategic and process thinking abilities; takes a broad perspective and makes connections.
Able to translate vision and strategy into clear actionable goals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to communicate in a direct, succinct manner.
Proactive relationship building ability coupled with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational psychology preferred.
