Java J2EE Pre and Post Sales

Prestigious Fortune 500 Company is currently seeking a Java Pre and Post Sales Consultant. As a senior consultant you will be a member of our Sales organization providing technical sales support throughout the sales cycle for various customers. This technical support includes conducting product proofs of concept, providing technical presentations, product demonstrations, answering technical questions, and customer follow-up. The consultant could spend 50% of their time traveling to customer sites to deliver services.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), at least 2 years of Pre-sales experience as well as experience as a developer doing software implementation, software development. Candidates must have a professional, communicative and engaging personality.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
Understand customer's pain and environment to deliver a customized demonstration.
Collect infrastructure technical requirements from customer and create a Proof of Concept plan. Assisting Sales Director with Accounts and Territory Management

Skills:
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE development on Weblogic and/or Websphere application troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization on Windows platforms.
• Working knowledge with programming in C++, Visual C++, VB, .Net. on Windows Platforms.
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability.

Soft Skills and Experience:
• Project management experience involving software implementation.
• Professional consulting experience, presentation and character.
• Analyze customer needs and implement solutions through research and troubleshooting and recommending a solution.
