Java Developer/Consultant

Stellent, Inc. is looking for a talented Java Developer/Consultant who will design and develop technical solutions for our customers within a variety of environments, technologies and scenarios. The ideal candidate will provide direction in regards to technical architecture, requirements development and related customization design. This person will also be responsible for development of the customer-specific solution while providing excellent customer service. This position does not require relocation.

Responsibilities will vary from project to project but will involve:
Serve as a team member in development of the customer-driven solution, contributing to crucial technical decisions as the nature of a client project evolves
Serve as an individual contributor for key components of a client solution
Work with a Technical Architect as called upon to define system requirements and application design
Install and configure Stellent products within a variety of customer environments
Provide support for other members of Consulting Services team
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
4+ years of overall technical experience on client/server and/or e-business projects
1+ years leading development teams
Web development experience required
2+ years Java experience
Proficiency in the following technologies: HTML, JavaScript and either JSP or ASP as well as web server experience in IIS, IPlanet or Apache
Experience in as many as possible of: J2EE/EJB, SQL, XML, C/C++ , Visual Basic, VB Script
2+ years experience working with either following major RDBMS systems (no DBA experience required): Oracle, MS SQL*Server (Informix, Sybase and DB2 helpful)
2+ years experience working with Unix (Solaris, AIX, HPUX) and Windows 2000/NT
LDAP experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 70-80%
Education:
B.S. in Computer Science (or related field) is required. A candidate with enough relevant work experience may be considered as well.
