Position: Sr. Java Consultant Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 Location: Washington, DC Education: B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or related technical discipline Requirements: Successful applicants will have experience in custom application development, data warehousing, enterprise portal integration, network & consolidation architecture, or related IT strategy and planning. Previous experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle is required. Required Skills: •Experience gathering user requirements and writing design documents, participating in JAD sessions, writing and executing unit and system tests. •Object-oriented design and methodology. •Java and J2EE server-side development skills with an understanding of Web Services architecture and design. •Experience with one of the following application servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle 9i, Sun ONE. •Understanding of, and experience with, UML and RUP. •Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. •Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues. •Strong sense of ownership and commitment. •Experience working at a respected consulting organization working with Federal government clients. *Limited travel (10%) Candidates selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities: Involved in the design and implementation of custom, technology-enabled business solutions. Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions. Responsibilities include: defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Position: Managers Compensation: $105,000 - $135,000 Location: Washington, DC Education: B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or related technical discipline Requirements: Successful applicants will have experience in custom application development, data warehousing, enterprise portal integration, network & consolidation architecture, or related IT strategy and planning. Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing senior client relationships and leading consultant and client project teams from project planning through execution. Six plus years of experience managing projects and engagements, interfacing with senior client personnel, gathering user requirements and writing design documents, leading JAD sessions, and writing and executing unit and system tests. Position: Senior Managers Compensation: $135,000 - $200,000 Location: Washington, DC Education: B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or related technical discipline Requirements: Successful applicants will have experience in custom application development, data warehousing, enterprise portal integration, network & consolidation architecture, or related IT strategy and planning. Previous experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle is required. Responsibilities: The qualified candidates will review Federal solicitations and prepare responses to requests for proposals and information. Provide guidance to service delivery team members on proposal response requirements and strategy. Analyze contra requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and business procedures. Negotiate prime contracts, subcontracts and teaming agreements. Lead negotiation teams on complex contractual issues. Lead multiple project teams in managing and delivering technology and creative business solutions for government clients.
