Deloitte's International Assignment Services (IAS) practice is one of the world's largest providers of expatriate tax services, serving more than 300 multinational organizations.  Our team can help companies operating internationally manage their expatriate tax issues and can assist in streamlining international assignment programs by providing cost-effective solutions. Our services include international policy design, program administration, tax equalization design and administration, tax compliance and planning, pre-departure and repatriation counseling, employee communications and more. This individual will work closely with our clients in the Japanese Services Group IAS Tax Practice.
We are currently looking for an experienced Tax Consultant to join our International Assignment Services Japanese Services Tax Group.  This professional will be responsible for managing internal resources and will work directly with
clients to provide expatriate and foreign-national tax compliance and consulting services to our multi-national clients. This individual must have the following qualifications:
 One or more years of general tax experience, preferably with at least 1 year in expatriate and foreign national tax compliance, tax equalization policy implementation/consulting, and management of international assignee populations of multi-national clients.
 Candidate should be familiar with the individual income tax issues and tax law including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance and the tax equalization process.
 Strong written and verbal communications skills, bilingual in English and Japanese (speak, read, write at a fluent business level).
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
