Internal Travel Specialist

Purpose:
The Internal Travel Specialist position will be responsible for researching and booking business travel requests received in our Internal Travel Department for our employees, and vendors. Additional responsibilities include applying industry discounts, barter, published and NET fares as applicable for all business travel requests, to include domestic and international destinations. The Internal Travel Specialist will also process travel requests in Worldspan, our Expedia.com and Expedia Corporate Travel (ECT) websites. This position will occasionally work an on-call schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma is required.
At least 1 year prior travel experience on native Worldspan is required
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
Must be a team player, work well under pressure and adapt well to change.
Must have exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to pay attention to detail.
Must have strong customer service skills with a desire to exceed expectations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Worldspan, Express and Admin tools will be required.
Position will require minimal travel.
