Inside Sales Support

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for promoting recognized company products as a professional inside sales representative to all assigned, existing, and prospective accounts. Utilizes written, electronic, and telephone skills to develop and maintain productive working relationships with current and prospective customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Communicates product features, functions, and benefits to prospective customers.
Seeks opportunities to increase existing customer sales base and prospects for new customer leads.
Conducts regular telephone or email campaigns to develop customer relationships and discover new opportunities.
Meets established quotas – sales and gross margin.
Ensures products are delivered on time.
Monitors inventory levels and works with purchasing to avoid product shortages.
Ensures that customers are satisfied with company product scope and services.
Obtains customer feedback and continually works to improve products and services.
Accurate order entry and documentation.
Resolves customer requests, complaints, and problems.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a two year technical degree, or 2-4 years of experience in a related industry, 2 years previous sales experience, working knowledge of electric utility products and services, understanding of product placement and competitive conditions, knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles, knowledge of Windows environment, proficient in MS Office, good organizational and problem-solving skills.
