Informatica Consultant - Data Warehouse

Purpose: A large telecommunications company needs an Informatica/ETL Developer to join their team for a new initiative in the Data Warehouse environment. These opportunities will have the option to go Full-Time with the customer.

Sr. ETL Developer - This role will design solutions to solve complex integrated reporting requirements. This will be accomplished by reviewing specification requirements with project teams, provide ETL development for implementing new requirements, provide necessary documentation and transfer knowledge to operations developer. You may also be asked to work on special ad hoc queries, assist the operations developer in troubleshooting an issue or, on occasion, be backup production operations. The position requires experience with OLTP, dimensional data modeling and aggregations. This is a highly technical role requiring critical thinking, logic, organization, self-motivation and attention to detail from analysis through implementation and post-production QA. During the project work cycle the developer will interface with the source systems, technical teams, business teams, reporting analyst and others. Therefore the ability to communicate with a variety of users, from directors to end-users, and perform well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment is critical to success in this position.
