In House Counsel

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $120,000 per year Detroit corporation has an excellent opportunity for a corporate counsel to join its team. This position will supervise the legal staff and coordinate defense of company litigation with outside counsel, and will write, review and negotiate contracts. All candidates must be Michigan licensed attorneys with ten plus years of experience in diverse areas of law that include contract law (preferably including U.S. government contracts), administrative law with an emphasis on the FTC, intellectual property, and litigation. Experience in labor law and purchasing would be a plus. All candidates must have strong communication skills and be able to develop strong relationships with corporate staff and outside counsel.
