CDI has an Immediate Need for two IVR SPECIALISTS
One year plus assignments for two Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Specialists in Charlotte, NC. These IVR Specialists are the team experts in the design, development, deployment, and production support of critical voice self service applications in a 24x7 large scale call center environment.
Responsibilities include:
Analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting IVR self service and routing applications written using the WVR (Direct Talk) IVR application development environment and making use of the Nuance Voice Recognition (VR) engine and IBM Websphere Voice Server (WVS) Text to Speech (TTS) engine as part of approved IT projects or small maintenance efforts.
Providing on-call support for the team’s supported applications. Developing and maintaining IVR self service application support documentation. Cross training other team members in basic on-call support of the IVR self service, WVR, VR, and WVS applications.
Required education/experience includes:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related major or equivalent work experience. Three plus years experience analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting IVR self service applications written using the WVR (Direct Talk) IVR application development environment. Demonstrated exceptional customer service orientation. Demonstrated ability to create sound work plans for the deployment of IVR application changes (bundles).
Desired skills include:
Experience designing and developing programs in C. Experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server RDBMS, working with SQL and developing IVR applications manipulating data stored in the RDBMS. Experience supporting Genesys and its interface to WVR IVR applications. Experience using reporting products such as Crystal Reports or Business Objects.
