The Denver practice is looking for an International Tax Manager to join its practice to assist with a variety of tax issues for multinational corporate clients, including tax planning, restructuring, audit defense, researching and writing memorandum, tax compliance and income tax provisions. This position involves advising US and foreign-based multinational companies on the US and foreign tax implications of their international operations. You will have the opportunity to work with public and private clients and prospective clients, and you will assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the Firm.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BA/B.S. Minimum; MS in Taxation, JD, or LL.M in Taxation preferred. CPA certification/license or Admitted to Practice Law is required.Essential Requirements:
5-7 years public accounting tax experience; solid tax technical background is required. International tax experience required, preferably within a professional services firm; international industry experience will be considered, coupled with a previous public accounting tax background. Successful candidate will have tax research and consulting experience with either inbound or outbound international tax issues. Must possess the ability to manage, develop and retain a team of tax professionals and aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Cultural sensitivity is required; ability to effectively understand and work with cultural differences. Individual must be client-service oriented and possess creative problem solving skills; strong oral an written communication skills is also required.
