The Information Technology Group (ITG) is expected to grow in size from about 1,200 associates to around 2,000 in the next five years. Working in partnership with IT Managers and HR Managers in North America, you will take a leadership role in developing strategies and programs to ensure that the resource needs of the North American ITG group are met. You will have primary responsibility for IT associate recruiting, including college recruiting, and managing the IT contingent workforce along with associated vendor relationships.As a recruiting manager, you will:
Lead a team of recruiters in a highly complex and high volume recruiting environment
Manage and direct the recruiting process across multiple business groups, ensuring exceptional customer service, timeliness and quality
Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
Develop the capabilities of the recruiting team in the areas of effective sourcing, interviewing and assessing candidates
Take a proactive approach to partner with managers of the organization to understand their business and recruiting needs
Educate and assist managers in the recruiting and selection process
Analyze hiring results and trends and make appropriate recommendations to enhance the recruiting process
Promote the effective use of recruitment technology
Participate in projects that have broad cross-site impact
Be active in the local HR community to network and represent CG as a premier employer
Work in a collaborative environment with other experienced and talented HR professionalsQualifications
The ideal recruiting manager will possess:
At least 15 years of experience in recruiting, predominantly in technology and IT, with a proven track record. The position requires at least 5 years of management experience, including several years managing in a large, complex organization
Strong technical competency with recruiting including sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and at least one applicant tracking system
Strong people management skills, including the ability to coach and develop others
Excellent analytical and assessment skills
Ability to engage and influence others at multiple levels of the organization
Strong business acumen
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage people, processes and multiple projects simultaneously
Results oriented; excellent follow through skills
HR generalist experience is a plus
Candidates with financial industry background and/or global organizational experience are preferredSpecific knowledge and skill set requirements are:
Excellent understanding of the IT marketplace in the US, including a knowledge of availability of resources by location for specific skill sets
A high-level understanding of the IT application development process and infrastructure
Knowledge of project management principles will be helpful
Knowledge of IT tool sets and technologies
Familiarity with IT organizational structures and titles
