IT Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester - QA Tester

Performs black box and white box testing. Creates and updates manual and
automated test scenarios and test cases, and reviews functional
requirements. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system
test cases. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.Essential Functions:
Develops and executes manual test procedures and cases based upon
requirements.

Develops and executes automates test scripts based upon requirements.

Confirms and reports defects.

Plans and implements testing strategies for different areas of our
products.

Ensures interoperability with third party products, operating systems,
and existing Aloha software.

Analyzes product deficiencies and test results.

Quickly and efficiently switches between tasks to meet the changing
needs of the business.

Maintains a good working relationship with Business Systems Analysts
and Development.

Ensures our customer's needs are being meet per the functional
specification.

Responsible for communicating testing considerations and general
status.

Adheres to test standards and procedures.

Determines project risks factors and proposes possible solutions.

Helps drive and evolve existing Quality Engineering processes.Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer
Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information
Technology, or related field.* Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated track record of applying Quality Assurance processes,
procedures, and standards.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
* Working knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
* POS or PMS software experience desired.
* Basic knowledge of database structures and query language; Microsoft
SQL experience desired.
* 2+ years of test automation experience.
