As a vital part of your team, you would focus on the following responsibilities:
Participate in assignments involving the monitoring solutions for large, critical application systems in a large environment.
Assist in developing monitoring strategies with tools such as HP OpenView's OVO, NNM, OVR, OVPM, SIP, Service Navigator and OVIS.
Provide operations support for monitoring tools and systems.
Evaluate progress and results with users and recommends changes in procedures and or tools.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
BS degree in computer or business related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of significant experience in HP OpenView suite of monitoring tools (experience with other monitoring suites a plus).
Proficiency in a specific product and design of industry related monitoring systems.
Direct experience in developing and supporting monitoring solutions for large-scale network infrastructures preferred.
Ability to highlight issues/problems and convey complex thoughts, written and oral, in a clear, concise, timely manner.
Ability to provide objective, analytical evaluation of staff and their work product.
Strong work ethic, independent and dependable.
Excellent team skills, working with both fellow staff members as well as customers, partners and vendors.
Desire to continue to grow professionally.
Willingness to take on broad, new challenges.
