Job Responsibilities:


Plans assignments involving the large, critical application systems or more than one system.


Assists in developing strategies to solve complex problems in the system development cycle.


Has good understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed.


Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.


Evaluates progress and results with users and recommends changes in procedures.


May have duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other applications systems analysis and programming personnel.


Provides technical leadership on complex projects.




Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications:
BS degree in computer or business related field or equivalent experience.
May prefer/require advanced degree.
Previous experience in an international role preferred but not required.
Must be able to work with an international audience in a teleconferencing environment.
8 years of significant experience in applications systems analysis and/or programming.
Lead technical specialist in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming.
Expert knowledge of the relationship of data structures as they relate to systems.
Advanced understanding of technological infrastructure and how it relates to projects.
Has well-developed leadership qualities.
Recognized expert in a specific product and design of industry related systems.
Ability to provide objective, analytical evaluation of staff and their work product.
Effective coach and mentor to management and staff personnel.
Ability to source, select, develop, promote and retain top IS talent.
Confident in challenging/making difficult decisions related to personnel/business issues.
Strong work ethic, independence and dependability.
Continues to grow professionally.
Able to highlight issues/problems and convey complex thoughts, written and oral, in a clear, concise, timely manner.
