Position: INVENTORY TECHNICIANS

DAVEY RESOURCE GROUP, a Division of The Davey Tree Expert Company, has opportunities in the field of Utility Forestry, as Inventory Technicians working on major Hudson Valley electric utility provider. Davey is a leader in the tree care, utility line clearing and forestry consulting industries, throughout the US and Canada.

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

HUDSON RIVER VALLEY—NEWBURGH, POUGHKEEPSIE, KINGSTON, HUDSON

DUTIES: Visually identifying and inspecting electrical hardware and non-electrical lines on utility poles. Inspectors will utilize hand-held computers to audit and compile data on the existence of joint-use components attached to poles. No overnight travel. Reporting to local Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma and Valid Drivers License. Valuable Experience--Preferred but not required: -- Experience in Cable TV, Telecomunications, Electric Utilities, telecommunications industries. Working knowledge of computers preferred; Ability to read and follow maps; Ability to work independently. Davey will provide complete training of specific task needs for the position, transportation, cell phone & all necessary equipment.
