IBM Certified Systems Engineer - p/xSeries & Storage focus

REQUIREMENTS
Baseline requirements to work with my client include:
·BA or BS or equivalent required.
·Minimum of 5 years experience in customer facing environments with good presentation skills. ??Skills should include understanding of Storage environments that would include mainframes, UNIX, and/or Wintel. System level understanding of Disk environments with advanced copy functions such as Flashcopy/Flash copytime finder PPRC/SRDF, and XRC.
·Storage Management software Knowledge with ECC, TPC, TSM, Content Manager, Veritas, and SAN Management.

Duties:
·Serve as a Server or Storage System Engineer for pre/post sale activities. Perform system-engineering functions with respect to the development of system concepts, architecture, design, and requirements, at the system, software, and hardware levels. Oversee all phases of system development from concept exploration, requirement development, integration, and installation. Participate in the development of proposals and presentations to management and customers. Work with customers and company marketing to assure end products meets customer needs.
·Hands on skill in the areas of performance, system sizing, and configuration development and project management are highly desirable. The skill and ability to integrate server, software and storage solutions is a significant area of value and focus for my client.
·While not a requirement, the ability to do billable work is a definite advantage.
·Professional certifications are an ongoing requirement with several listed below. In all cases comparable certifications on competitor's products are considered to be equivalent to the IBM certifications.

Package is negotiable but we're probably looking at a base from $60K-$80K with $110K - $175K OTE. They have a full benefits package.
