Retirement Services Provider Consultant Senior Consultant

Deloitte seeks a Retirement Services Provider Consultant for the Total Rewards Practice, part of the Human Capital Group, to support our National practice in the New York Tri-state office. The incumbent will be work closely with Provider clients to manage and support projects that design, implement, and manage highly client-centered and creative solutions. Our Practice mission is to help Retirement Service Providers gain competitive advantages and differentiate themselves in the areas of business strategy, sales and marketing, client service, product development, and business operations.
 
Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with other practitioners to provide the following:
      Analyzing and benchmarking client's existing products and services for market
competitiveness - strengths, deficiencies, & gaps.
      Develop and differentiation strategies and improvement recommendations.
      Manage (at Manager level) projects on behalf of providers.
      Train clients on marketplace trends including conducting market research studies and developing white papers.
      Develop strategies for providers to increase their competitiveness through differentiation of products, processes, and/or services.
      Develop products and services for providers.
      Generate leads in the national provider marketplace, setting up sales appointments and selling services (at Manager level)
      Research marketplace to support project deliverables
      Create detailed client deliverables that support findings and recommendations
      Ability to reach out to Retirement Services network to gather trends
 
 
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
      A minimum of 6-8  years retirement plan experience (DC, DB
, NQ) - preferably with more than one provider organization.
      Successful marketing ability in selling services to prospects and existing clients.
      Has an understanding of trends in the Retirement Services Marketplace
      Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously (manager level)
      Ability to work in a team environment - sharing ideas and working collaboratively.
      Strong organizational and analytical skills.
      Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
      Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
      Bachelors degree
      PowerPoint and Word Skills
      Visio, Access, and Microsoft project a plus
