Senior Consultant - Compensation Consulting
Deloitte Consulting has a career opportunity for a Senior Consultant in the New York City Compensation Consulting Practice.
Representative sample of a Senior Consultant's job responsibilities and qualifications:
Market Analysis
Benchmark base salary and total cash compensation levels, and conduct variance analysesConduct proxy statement studies and analyses of other publicly available data sources
Benchmark annual incentive plans and long-term incentive plan design and practice
Conduct custom compensation surveys
Conduct statistical analyses of compensation data
Model financial impact of compensation plans
Conduct performance metrics studies
Monitor executive and other compensation trends
Develop performance management programs
Presentations and Business Development
Prepare client reports including exhibits and summaries
Participate in marketing initiatives including writing proposals and conducting surveys
Research and prepare speeches for internal and external presentation
Project Management Support
Direct work of compensation analysts
Manage small and mid-sized projects and portions of larger projects with little
supervision
Other
Participate in broader Total Rewards and Deloitte Consulting projects including Employee Benefits, Retirement, Healthcare and Human Capital projects
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with three to seven years of related experience in a compensation consulting firm or in a corporate compensation department
Strong technical skills
Ability to work on multiple projects
Experience writing proposals and participating in business development activities
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills
Attention to detail
Strong working knowledge of the following PC-based software applications for analysis and reporting: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
