Advanced Quantitative Services Consultant/Senior
Consultant
The Advanced Quantitative Consultant/Senior Consultant will provide technical and analytical support in a consulting environment.
The job functions include the following:
- Perform SAS data manipulation and analysis programming
- Develop predictive models using multiple statistical techniques
- Provide technical and actuarial design assistance
- Present and communicate results to clients
- Provide support and assistance for the implementation of predictive models
- The minimum job prerequisites are as follows:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in statistics, actuarial science or related field of study
- 2 - 5 years of data mining and predictive modeling experience
- Extensive knowledge of tools for data mining and statistics (SAS, SPSS, MATLAB)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products
- Solid statistical understanding
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively work in a
team environment and as an individual
- Ability for significant travel during peak periods (10% - 50%)
- Strong work ethic and desire to help clients improve their businesses
- Strong desire for success
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including overtime
Additional desired job prerequisites include the following:
- Advanced degree in statistics, actuarial science, artificial intelligence, or data mining
- Actuarial designation or actuarial background
- Business analytics experience in one or more of the following industries: Insurance, Consumer Products and Packaged Goods, and Human Resources
