Deloitte's Comprehensive Tax Solutions group works with a client's tax department to identify and implement tax strategies that can positively impact your global effective tax rate and shareholder value. We provide ideas and resources across many tax disciplines that can identify new types of deductions, recoup overpayments, discover misclassified expenses and work with your tax team on long range tax planning.

In addition to extensive industry and technical experience, our specialists are supported by an electronic database of work programs, templates, and technical resources that give our professionals a distinct advantage in delivering.
 
We are currently looking for
Senior Consultants to join the R&D team.  As a member of theR &D team you will have the opportunity to leverage your Accounting, Tax or Law knowledge to identify opportunities to secure such Tax incentives for our clients.  You will conduct interviews with highly knowledgeable researchers, attend client meetings with professionals, assist in providing services directly to clients and be afforded the opportunity to participate in all aspects of engagement strategic planning initiatives.Our Tax Seniors' primary responsibilities include overseeing complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries; research and analyze a wide range of tax issues such as deferred tax liability issues and tax implications of financing techniques for a variety of entities and their affiliates.  Tax Seniors supervise assignments by the professionals serving as Tax Consultants.  Flexibility for travel is required.
 
As a Deloitte Tax Senior, all applicants must possess the following:
- Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field; Desirable: CPA, MS in Accounting or Taxation, MBS, or LLM in Taxation
- Desirable:  CPA, MS in Taxation, MBA, or LLM in Taxation
- R&D experience is a plus.
- Previous Federal/Core Tax or Financial Audit backgrounds are desired. Candidates with previous Big 4 experience will be given priority consideration.
