We are seeking Manager level consultants with health plan insurance product strategy, including new HMO and PPO product development, and Medicare Managed Care, Medicare Advantage and related Medicare products consistent with the Medicare Modernization Act.  We work with our client organizations to determine market and customer needs, developed detailed design of product features, create new product business cases, ensure compliance with regulations, and prepare product financials, conducting product forecasting, filing with state and federal agencies, and preparing marketing strategies.  
 
As the health plan industry continues to evolve, we are working with the leading organizations in this dynamic market to drive innovative approaches and solutions across the value chain of sales and distribution channels; pricing and risk
management; care decision support; customer care; medical management; network management; claims management and membership, and provider contract management.
 
A Manager with experience in consulting will manage and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large health plan companies.  The manager level job description includes providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in context of the overall engagement.  Implements and oversees quality of deliverables and manages the team effectively to ensure exceptional performance and manages day-to-day client relationships.  Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.  Managers
manage small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.
 
 
 
 Qualified candidates will possess an undergraduate degree and preferably an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) and seven or more years of consulting management industry experience with a large management consulting firm or direct health plan industry experience.  Relevant industry experience is a must with recent experience in developing new business models, leading critical meetings with senior leadership connected with major product development projects, and directing and leading strategic initiatives for health plan organizations.  Product Development experience with Medicare related products is strongly preferred.Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries ("the Deloitte US Firms") are equal opportunity employers.Deloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, its member firms and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates.
