Manager - Clinical Information Systems
 
Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Business or Healthcare Administration and seven to ten years of experience in consulting or the health care provider industry. Additionally, candidates must have experience participating in the implementation of a package, or custom design, clinical applications software solution into a health care provider environment. Candidates must have business process expertise that includes inpatient, outpatient or billing related systems and be capable of leading small client teams through redesign, build, test and deployment of new business processes to facilitate integration of new system functionality. Systems experience can include EPIC, Eclypsis, Cerner, IDX, SMS or other clinical information systems. Should have a solid understanding of the full project
life cycle including: facilitating design sessions, mapping and configuring data values, work-flow development, functional testing, training and user support. Advanced degrees in business or health administration are a major plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. These positions will require extensive travel.
 
 
§ Engagement Management:  manages engagement risk; project economics including planning and budgeting and managing accounts receivable; defining deliverable content; and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels of the client.
§ Business Development: develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients; organizes and leads pursuit teams; participates and leads aspects of the proposal development process; and contributes to proposal pricing strategy.
§ People Development: performs role of counselor and coach; provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process; and actively participates in staff
recruitment and retention activities.
 
 
A minimum of a BS degree is required and advanced degrees are strongly preferred.   All Deloitte Consulting opportunities require extensive travel.  Viable locations include:  Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.
