Deloitte & Touche's East Coast Financial Services Industry Regulatory Services Practice is currently seeking a senior level banking regulatory specialist to provide value added consultative services to our major financial services industry clients. Our FSI Regulatory Services Practice assists clients in effectively managing "regulatory risk," i.e., ensuring compliance with specific laws and regulations as well as ensuring risk management practices and controls meet regulatory expectations. Service areas would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Compliance assessments/assistance ( e.g., Anti-Money Laundering; Fair Lending; Privacy)
Risk Management assessments ( credit, market and operational risks)
Mock regulatory examinations
Responding to
regulatory examination issues and enforcement actions
Assist in correcting control and compliance deficiencies and implementing solutions
Assist in identifying impact of new regulations and implementing change
Assist in development of regulatory applications and business plans
Demonstrated Abilities and Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
- MBA preferred, but not required
- 4+ years experience in operations and/or regulatory
- Banking, accounting; auditing internal controls and/or financial reporting
- Bank regulatory examination experience within the Federal Reserve System or with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
Contribute to a positive team attitude
Prefer CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP
- Ability to accomodate fequent
