Job Description:
Ernst & Young's Financial Services Advisory (FSA) unit is a specialty advisory practice that provides integrated market, credit and operational risk management; operations improvement, business integration, and strategic cost management; and regulatory and treasury advisory services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants. FSA includes individuals who have industry, client and product knowledge as well as quantitative, regulatory, project management and technology professionals. Our teams work together to coordinate the delivery of risk management, regulatory and business performance services to a variety of clients, including mortgage companies, commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations.The Senior Manager is involved in the full life-cycle of risk management advisory work, including: market risk, credit risk, operational risk, process design or improvement, and regulatory advisory.Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field an MBA or master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field; a CPA; or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are preferred a minimum of 8 years of experience in a mortgage firm, investment or commercial bank, or professional services firm serving financial services clients, including several of the following: mortgage-related financial products, back-office/operations (e.g., securities or loan processing), credit risk management infrastructure; quantitative methods and tools supporting credit risk measurement; economic capital and risk-adjusted performance measurement; market risk management; financial product/derivatives valuation and operations; operational risk (Basel II requirements and industry practices); experience in market, credit or operational risk management or mortgage/banking/capital markets operations significant experience in project management and process analysis and design integrity within a professional environment strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing, client proposals, service brochures and client interaction the ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and technology PC proficiency, including MS Office
Successful candidates must also have the ability to travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
