Financial Advisor - Securities

The Securities Dedicated Financial Advisor provides sales support to a Senior FA or Team of FA's and is "fully funded" by the "C" and "D" book of the Senior FA's they service. Their focus is to service and promote the expansion of the investment relationship and develop cross-selling opportunities for other business lines. The Dedicated FA also works independently to solicit brokerage business and provide financial services. The Securities Dedicated Financial Advisor has a strong understanding of the brokerage industry, trading operations and the breadth of our product offerings across the bank. Accountable for sales of full range of securities products, and achieve targeted securities fee income goals within assigned territory. Maintain presence within the bank to develop strong relationships and credibility with internal and external clients. Work is performed under the supervision of a Senior FA and the Affiliate Sales Manager.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the sales efforts of the Senior Financial Advisor (s) they partner with.

Handle daily client needs and problems and prioritize and delegate tasks to resolve

Post-appointment follow up to maintain relationships and develop referrals from existing client base

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all financial products through self-study, periodicals, and appropriate coursework

Prepare necessary internal reports for sales tracking

Conduct internal and external seminars

Prioritize client needs and introduce services of other Fifth Third Bank employees, i.e. loans, estate planning, deposits

Helps to drive sales under the supervision of a Retail Investment Executive or Senior Investment Executive. Solicits additional customers for Investment Executives.

Has regular contact with clients regarding their accounts, their allocations and may make recommendations about their investment strategy under the supervision of a senior Investment Executive.

Handles various projects as needed.

Engage in professional education programs like e-Learning and the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) program.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Prior Brokerage Industry Experience

Series 7, Series 63, and State Insurance License

Motivated by commission sales, recognition programs, and internal sales competition among co-workers

Demonstrated ability to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts.

Proven experience in building strong internal and external client relationships.

Knowledge of the securities business, investment products and financial solutions

Highly developed sales and presentation skills

At least 2 years of sales experience preferred. E.O.E., M/F/D/V
