Field Planning Consultant

Position works primarily with the Sales Vice President (SVP) of a specific region, acting as a dedicated consulting resource to assist the SVP in managing policy growth issues in the region. Provide planning, analysis, and implementation support to help drive profitable growth via improved retention, increased new business production, and optimized distribution capabilities. Work with the SVP, regional sales directors, and other field planning consultants to ensure that Marketing is effectively and efficiently supporting regional growth.
REQUIREMENTS


- Strong analytical background and skills.
Ability to credibly represent the SVP at corporate or regional meetings.
Strong presentation skills and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
Strong financial background.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the insurance industry.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
Familiarity with internal information systems and sources, analytical tools such as Excel, statistical tools such as SPSS, database tools such as Access, and communication and presentation tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
Understanding and exposure to a sales organization.
MBA is preferred
