Provides multi-channel recruiting support (advertising, pre-screening, candidate referral, sourcing, and job posting) for all assigned dealership locations. The Market Recruiter is responsible for implementing local recruiting strategies, programs, and overall recruitment image which will generate candidates to meet the needs of the assigned local market. This is an exempt position.Organizational Relationships:
This position will report directly to the Region Recruiting Manager and will be assigned to support a specific Market President. The primary interface will be with the assigned MP and his dealerships and Region Recruiting and HR team. The field Recruiter will interact with the RRM, HR partners and line management serving as the focal point for the implementation of staffing strategies, programs, and overall recruitment image.Job Responsibilities: Under leadership of the RRM, works with dealership management teams to develop and execute recruitment and staffing strategies. Collaborates with MPs, GMs, hiring managers, and RRM to develop creative sourcing solutions.
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
Develop a thorough understanding of the dealership/department culture and uses that understanding to ensure the fit of the candidate to the dealership/position.
Maintains a network of sourcing contacts such as military sources, associations, colleges, and vocational schools.
Under leadership of RRM and Region team, implements a staffing branding strategy for their market.
Pre-screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills.
Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and appropriate state statutes.
Maintain current knowledge of AutoNation policies and procedures pertinent to employment and hiring including Business Ethics Program, Adjudication Guidelines, and Drug Free Workplace program.
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting sources, advertising, promotions, cold calls, media, and associate referrals.
Track open requisitions in the applicant tracking system to move them to closure. Regularly reports recruiting issues/activities to RM and the stores.
Provide weekly updates and status reports and adhere to established recruitment metrics.
Coordinate associate referral programs.
Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.
Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations.
Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
Arrange for interviews and provide travel arrangements as necessary.
Advise managers and associates on staffing policies and procedures.
Participate in national, regional and local job fairs and events that promote employment opportunities with the company.
Coordinate and staff in-store career open houses and market-wide career fairs.
Assist with associate in-store orientation activities.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience: Qualifications Mandatory:
Minimum 1 years recruiting-related experience. (New Hires).
In-depth understanding of recruiting processes and HR-related regulations.
Ability to professionally handle and communicate recruiting issues.
Ability to protect confidential information.
Ability to perform in a fast paced and flexible environment.
Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks and a large number of open requisitions simultaneously.
Working knowledge of MS office software - MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Office.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Customer service focused.Qualifications Preferred:
HR recruiting experience or generalist experience with a strong emphasis on recruiting in a multi-unit retail or automotive environment
Bachelor’s Degree
B-lingual (English/Spanish) if dictated by market
