Federal Training Consultant

BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.Team members will be responsible for working as a part of a BearingPoint team member working primarily out of a downtown DC or Crystal City client site location, with travel, up to 30%, outside of the DC Metro area. Individual will work with BearingPoint and client team members to develop and implement solutions to client challenges.The ideal candidate is:

Enjoys being involved in the day-to-day details and is willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done.

Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.

Position involves significant client interaction. Seeking individuals to join our team with a client-focused and consummate team player attitude.

Quick learner.Responsibilities:

Lead/Support the training development and delivery efforts of end-user financial systems.

Plan and prepare for training sessions.

Provide helpdesk support to end users.

Map and improve processes, increase effective communication, develop policy, etc in support of the system implementation.Requirements:

US Citizen, US Security Clearance preferred, but not required

Prior Teaching/Training experience required

At least 3 years of applicable experience

Strong written and oral communication skills – team members will prepare presentations and must be able to clearly articulate financial analysis performed

Bachelors Degree Required; Advanced degree a plus, but not required

Leadership potential and experience working with teams (2-10 people)

Individual must be able to represent BearingPoint independently in front of the client

MS PowerPoint and Excel knowledgeAdditional Pluses:

Demonstrated Business Process Improvement (BPI) Experience and Project Management Experience
