As a frontrunner in the field of child care, Girls and Boys Town provides in home services referred by Orange County with the express purpose of gathering referrals and providing families tools to improve their individualized situations. Family Based Services consists of 21 highly trained consultants who work in the field and provide help, healing and hope to families in desperate need of guidance. Family Based Services has surpassed many of their goals. In a follow up study, one year after our consultants worked with families for 8-12 weeks: 99% of children remained in the home.100 % of youth and guardians are arrest free.93% of families have no incidents of child abuse in the home.

Requirements: Must be over 21 years of age, must have valid drivers license and a good driving record. Must be able to pass drug screening and background checks. MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH. Bachelors required in a social services related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, etc. Unfortunately, degrees in Criminal Justice or Education are not applicable. Must have one year paid experience working with children and/or families. Must be bi-lingual Spanish. Girls and Boys Town is an equal opportunity employer.
