Facilities Consulting Engineer-Repair

Purpose: Qualifications: - Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Electrical or Architectural required.
-PE (Professional Engineer) or RA (not required for group head position)
-Review and assess facility problems at client site
-Create report and recommendation on repair
-Design and outsource repair work. Act as owners rep for client
-Preparation of construction documents including specifications, drawings and details
-Construction contract administration including construction monitoring, attending project meetings, review pay requests, review of RFI?s, issue change orders and punch list development

Group head:
-Participate in marketing efforts, including preparation of marketing literature, SOQ?s and presentations
-Business development.
-Responsible for profit and loss of group
-Client maintenance
-Train, manage, and develop careers of junior staff.
-Control division budget

Travel:
Mainly in the Fairfax office, however they will travel to client sites in DC. Minimal travel around the country.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
