Financial Services Advisor, is a position with the TDS METROCOM Financial Services Department that works in an inbound call center environment taking calls from customers (both business and residential customers) to collect outstanding receivables on accounts that are in past-due status.

The two main goals of the Financial Services Advisor are to 1) Help customer come up with solution pay their account current (Example: Deferred Payment Agreement (DPA), Credit Card Payment, Check Over the Phone, Reoccurring Credit Card, etc.), and 2)
When the customer can not pay for their service and all effort has been exhausted, we need to quickly terminate service, write-off the account balance and get that information to Financial Services Processing team, as soon as possible, for recovery.

Take incoming calls in call-center environment from customers to get accounts paid current, make payment arrangements such as DPAs, take Credit Card payments
Financial Services Advisor (FSA) work DESI Work Queue Tasks Advisor will defaults DPAs, create and mail Default DPA letter same day as the agreement defaulted. Advisor makes necessary notes in DESI.
Advisor will create an Out Order account in SABRE to take the line out of billing. Disconnect Reason Code is NP.
Make outgoing proactive calls to customers to keep customers current on Deferred Payment Agreements
Reconnects Accounts as paid current via Seamless Service Order processing
Researches customer issues where required and follows up with customer quickly as possible to resolve problems
Backing up FSA Processor position
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a call center

Other Qualifications:
Knowledge of Collection Law beneficial
Previous collections/financial experience preferred
Ability to keep internal information confidential
Understanding of telecommunication products and services
